Hallux valgus deformity

The so-called Hallux valgus first toe is the deviation of the first toe outward, to the side.I think many of us know what such a deformity looks like, most commonly seen in older people.But why does this bone begin to protrude in some people, and not in others?Let's try to figure it out.

Reason     

There are many factors that influence development "collide" According to age, we list some of them:   

  • Horizontal flat feet;

Symptom      

You should be alert and carefully examine your feet if:

  • there is an obvious deformity of the foot;

If you notice these changes, you should consult a podiatrist and be sure to have X-rays and foot impressions taken to check for flat feet.Therefore, if you or your child has flat feet, you should monitor the progression of the disease from an early age, specifically: choose suitable shoes, massage and regularly visit an orthopedist.People with flat feet are at a much higher risk of developing this deformity.

Remember that if you do nothing, the disease will develop into chronic bursitis (inflammation) and arthritis.Additionally, if the disease progresses, surgery may be required.
